Congratulations to Xavier Foley, who took 1st Place for the 14 and under division of the 2009 International Society of Bassists Solo Competition earlier this summer.
The judges were astounded by the caliber of his musicianship, describing it as "a historical moment in the history of the competition and Young Bassists Program."
