Mastery Orchestra’s Bailey Showcase Performance

E-mail Print PDF

Hello parents -

Many of you have requested the ticket form and menu form for the “Showcase of the Arts” performance at the Bailey Center.  Here they are.  If you have questions please let me know.

You will need to make arrangements via carpooling or transporting children to the Bailey Center after school on December 14th.  Students must change into uniforms after school and head right to the Bailey Center at KSU’s campus.  We will need to get everyone there and begin rehearsing.

The form for the menu is here and we will provide dinner for them between the two performances back stage.  Please have them fill this form out and send it in with their $6.  If they wish to bring something to eat they can but it will not be kept cold or reheated anywhere so plan accordingly.

Get your ticket forms filled out with tickets, CD, photograph, and/or DVD orders before December 3rd!!  There will be NO TICKET SALES AT THE DOOR.  After the 3rd only students will be able to order these items during their lunch period on the 12th, 13th, and 14th.  If you get your orders in before the 3rd by using the form you will ensure you get everything in a timely manner before the event.

If you have questions please let me know.  Ushers will not let people in who do not have tickets!  Please plan accordingly.  This event is a magnificent concert.

Newsflash

It's time for the Camp Glisson String Retreat 2011!

This year, the String Retreat will be held September 23-25. (Please see itinerary for details).

Don't miss out on this great opportunity for a weekend of musical focus combined with the fun of the wilderness. All orchestra members are welcome to share in this unique experience, and you never know what surprises each year will bring to the camp guests. But, legend has it that Bigfoot is an awesome violinist (most people thought he only played bass).

Campers will be "roughing it" in the air conditioned comfort of the newly renovated Sparrowwood Lodge.

The cost will be $125 per student. This includes four meals, two nights lodging in the newly renovated Lodge (dormitory style) with air conditioning, a camp fire with prizes and smores, activities, water balloon relay and games, work with professional music clinicians, and more.

If you've missed any of the forms, you can download here...
